Lifeway Church of God is a congregation of the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee. We believe that the Holy Spirit is still active in the world in all His attributes as described in the Bible and that He still empowers His own with spiritual gifts and ministries as in the early church. We believe the fruit of the Spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control are the marks of the genuine Christian life. We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving Him as personal Savior produce a change in the nature of a person and redirect that life to follow God. That change of heart, purpose and direction prepares us for everlasting life. |
